This program explores the traditional Indigenous roles of Women in our families and communities. Programming will address multi-generational trauma stemming from the Residential School Legacy.
Participants are asked to refrain from any and all drug and alcohol use during programming. Healing will be based on Traditional culture and ceremony- participants’ need to have a clear mind and spirit to connect with the Creator and Ancestors.
This year's Grandmothers' session is July 2 - 9th, 2025 at Kackaamin.
Caregivers are welcome to apply with their children/youth (see applications below).
Note this program is different than the Rebuilding the Circle (RTC) Grandmothers' session, which addresses trauma from sexual harm (see RTC page for more info).
